WINEFEST: Friday November 4th
Winfest was a huge success. Thank you for all who attended, assisted and a special thank you to the Wine distributors and vendors for a great evening. Winners of the Raffles were:

Joe Sveck – Ultimate Tailgate package, bronco tickets and tailgate grill
John Sheiderer – Rifle
St. Mary’s School will replace and update instructional technology with the proceeds from Winefest.

Thank You Poor Richards and Cassie Rauzi for all your support of Winefest. A special VIP tasting was dedicated to Jim Rauzi who passed away this past year.

Guest Speaker is Michael Huckabee.
We are very excited to announce that we have contracted with Governor Mike Huckabee to be our guest speaker. He is a NY Times Best selling author and has a TV show with Citadel Broadcasting. He will be speaking about Faith, Family and American Values. We picked him because of his message. His message not only relates to the values we share as Catholics, but also to any other religion and socio-economic class.
Having a guest speaker is new to Fanfare and we are very excited to try something different. There are over 55 non-profit organizations in the city that have a live and silent auction as a fundraiser. We needed to change it up a little to be able to compete with the other fundraising groups. We are confident that this will be different from the others.
We are still having the Ultimate Raffle as a part of Fanfare. This is truly where we raise the most money for the school. We are going to have the tickets ready at Winefest and will sell them for a longer period of time. They will be $100 again for a chance to win $15,000 cash or a new car. We are still working on the car with Halladay motors. We will let you know once that is finalized.
If you know of anyone that may be interested in sponsoring Huckabee or would like to buy a corporate table, please contact us and we will get you the information. Sponsorships are $5000 and will get 4 VIP tickets to a private reception with Mr. Huckabee, as well as several other opportunites for advertising etc. Corporate tables are $1500 and our goal is to sell 20 of them. They will get a table for 8 with advertising opportunies and reserved seating.
We have 872 dinner tickets available and need to sell them all. The dinner tickets will be $100 this year. Everyone will need to choose their dinner entree as well. The choices are Prime Rib or Roasted Chicken. We are anticipating having the dinner tickets ready to sell the week after Winefest is over. We will let you know once they are ready. We have several people on a list, wanting tickets already, so we are hoping they will sell easily.
